Hiflux HIGH FAST filters are designed for baristas and coffee enthusiasts who want to overcome the limitations of traditional filter papers. Thanks to their high-permeability structure, they promote a faster flow rate and offer greater freedom in adjusting the grind and other extraction parameters.
Hiflux filters use Lyocell-type regenerated fiber technology. This three-dimensional, high-permeability fibrous structure allows for a flow rate up to 42% faster than a conventional paper filter.
High flow rate
The filter's design facilitates water flow through the ground coffee and reduces the risk of slowing or blocking the flow, especially with finer grinds. This high flow rate allows for a greater level of extraction while maintaining controlled flow times, thus ensuring aromatic balance.
Selective filtration
The unique mesh structure allows some fine particles, particularly those smaller than 20 μm, to pass through the filter. These particles can contribute to a richer body and texture in the cup, while maintaining the desired aromatic definition with a gentle brewing method. Sensory neutrality: The material is designed to minimize unwanted flavors associated with the filter and preserve the coffee's natural aromatic expression as much as possible. As with most filters, it is still recommended to rinse your filters beforehand with approximately 100g of water to ensure the best results in the cup.
Flat Circle
An alternative to the "Wave" shape for flat-bottomed drippers, the "Flat" format is distinguished by its perfectly smooth wall, conforming to the dripper without any creases or ridges.
